Risk practitioners,
not marketers.
SuppliersVet exists because reading Chinese public records well is a professional skill — and almost no one selling “supplier verification” online actually has it.
The background
SuppliersVet was founded by a practitioner with ten years of legal and asset-disposal work, including risk-control and legal functions at the headquarters of one of China’s largest banking institutions. That work meant reading corporate registries, court files, enforcement records and credit files at volume — not occasionally, but as a daily discipline — and making judgments about counterparties where being wrong carried real financial consequences.
Ten years of that leaves a specific competence: a practiced eye for what a registry entry actually implies, which flags are noise and which are smoke, how a company’s litigation docket reads as a story rather than a list, and where the deep risk hides — in paid-in capital that never arrived, in a business scope that does not match the storefront, in an enforcement order filed under a name you would not think to search.
Why sell that skill to overseas buyers
Because the same records that informed credit decisions inside a bank are public — and the buyers who need them most, small and mid-size overseas companies wiring deposits to Chinese suppliers, almost never read them. They are written in Chinese, filed in Chinese systems, and structured for Chinese legal professionals. The gap between what is public and what is understood is where sourcing losses live.
SuppliersVet closes that gap one report at a time: pull the official filings, read them properly, and write down in plain English what they say about the company you are about to pay.
The position we take
- Buyer-side only. We take no fees, commissions, referral payments or favors from factories, agents, or anyone on the supply side. In any engagement, our only client is you.
- Official records only. Every finding traces to a government database or public filing, with the source and retrieval date noted. We do not buy brokered data and we do not scrape gray markets.
- Honest scope. Screening is labeled screening. A report that says “not verifiable” is a finished report, not a failed one. We would rather refund an engagement than pad it.
- No invented precision. No 0–100 trust scores. Public records support three honest grades — Cleared, Cautions, Adverse — and that is what we give.
- What we are not. Not a law firm, not a credit rating agency, not a private investigation agency, not a product inspection company. Where your problem needs one of those, we say so.
Anonymity, stated plainly
We do not publish the founder’s personal details, and we do not publish client names — discretion runs in both directions. What we offer instead of a face is verifiable substance: a written method, sourced reports you can cross-check line by line, and a sample report you can inspect before spending anything. Judge the work, not the headshot.
