On-site Verification

Public records tell you a company exists. They do not tell you what stands at the registered address. For that, a vetted regional correspondent physically attends the premises, confirms what is actually there, and returns timestamped photographic and video evidence.

What the visit establishes

  • Whether the registered address corresponds to a real, operating business premises — not a residential flat, a shared-office mailbox, or an empty unit
  • Whether the activity visible at the site is consistent with the company’s claimed business: a machining plant with machines, a trading office with desks, or a mismatch between the two
  • Visible scale signals: site size, signage, loading activity, staff presence
  • A timestamped evidence pack: photographs and video from the visit, with date and location metadata

How it works

On-site work is performed by vetted local correspondents in the relevant industrial zone — people who know the district, speak the language, and have no relationship with the supplier. The visit is an exterior and public-area observation: we do not present ourselves as buyers, do not enter private production areas under pretext, and do not conduct quality inspections. If you need a genuine technical factory audit with sampling and line inspection, that is the domain of an inspection company, and we will tell you so plainly.

Coverage and pricing

Coverage depends on where the supplier is registered. Major industrial zones in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shandong are routinely covered at the $199 add-on rate. Remote or low-coverage regions require bespoke travel arrangements and cost more; we confirm coverage and the final price before you pay anything. If a location is not feasible, the add-on is declined rather than improvised.

Who it is for

Buyers whose desk research came back clean but whose order size now justifies eyes on the ground — or whose Verification (No. 02) flagged an address that needs resolving before a deposit moves.

Frequently asked

Will the supplier know they were visited?

Possibly. A visit to the premises is observable, unlike document research. The correspondent does not identify you as the client and does not engage staff on your behalf; the observation is of what is publicly visible at and around the address.

Is this a factory audit?

No. An audit is a technical engagement with checklists, sampling and access to production lines, performed by an inspection company. Our visit answers a narrower question: is this place real, operating, and consistent with what it claims to be?
